Tuesday once again. I’ve actually had a fairly good weekend! On Sunday, I was supposed to go to an event but ended up not being able to. We had already driven there so I ended up in a vintage and secondhand book store nearby! I got a book about playing piano and saw a dress that would’ve been absolutely perfect for me but, unfortunately, it was most likely too small and also 55 dollars. That was disappointing but I saw a bunch of interesting places I want to go to in the future!
Yesterday was very eventful—for me, anyway. I cut my hair, which I’ve been doing myself for a very long time, and I’m rather happy with it. I don’t know whether I’m going to keep it at this length or let it grow back out but, considering the speed at which hair grows, that’s a later problem.
After that, my mom and I went to bingo! We won four times between us which was super exciting. I really love bingo and people are always very endeared by how completely elated I am looking at the prize options and when I win one. There’s really nothing like that feeling and, since it’s free to play, there’s really no downside.
I’m nearly done making my dad’s birthday present! I doubt there’s much more than six hours of work at most left to do. I was considering taking a break from working on it today but, for some reason, the way my brain works is that I won’t be able to properly relax until it’s done. I don’t do very well with deadlines.
I still haven’t been able to write much, even on the idea I mentioned last time. I think I’m going to have to go with my back-up option because I just cannot put the words together for something complex. It’s very frustrating to me, especially because there’s really not much I can do about it.
My siblings will be home again in a few weeks which I’m really excited for! I’m pretty used to not seeing my little sister for relatively long periods of time but it’s been very difficult to be away from my older sibling. I really miss them. We talk a lot but it’s obviously really not the same thing. It’s been very hard to adjust to going from being in the same house or, at least, the same town to four hours apart.
I’ve started playing Slime Rancher 2 again. I go through a lot of phases with what games I’m playing at any given time, if you haven’t picked up on that. I left off pretty far into the game but not having finished the story yet. It’s a very cute game, even if I sometimes get frustrated with it. I think I’ll always pull out task manager to try and escape falling in to the slime sea, no matter how many times it fails to save me.
That’s about all I’ve been up to lately. My pain has been rough at times, but better than it was a couple weeks ago. That’s enough for me, honestly. Have a lovely day and I’ll see you next time!
